After just one week poe2 has more players on steam then LE does

Amazon, Deadeye, Lich, and Smith of Kitava obviously all have at least one working build and that's already more than f'ing three.

And you can click through each one of these, and frankly every other class, and see that they all have an impressive amount of internal diversity.

What does "dress up quickly enough" even mean? Quickly enough for what?

Is my build not "working"? If not then I think you need to elaborate on your criteria.


I also have my own build. But I'm talking about efficient builds, and all the "diversity" inside is minor changes.

In patch 0.1, there were more options and a big difference within the base builds. A number of negative changes in the type of removal of cells for gems.
The weakening of some unique items and abilities is too severe. Instead of raising the lagging abilities to a level and moderately weakening the outstanding ones, we saw the complete destruction of archetypes.

The last time I looked at poe 2 ninja statistics, there were about 60% of players playing in 2 subclasses.
There are fewer Amazons now, because apparently the players have had enough of it, but they haven't found anything like it for themselves.

10 subclasses are at the level of 2% of the players. While the first 4 positions occupy 70%
If you think it's diversity, then I have some bad news. This diversity leads to a very quick death of the league.

Pffff showing skill usage to make a point is actually hilarious. This is not PoE 1, gents, where you can show something like that (with support gems for some reason) and claim diversity. PoE 2 is meant to be played with several main skills. Which just so happen to be majorly hammer of the ancients, perfect strike and boneshatter, each one fulfilling a certain function.

Instead of a "Hammer of the Gods" build, a "Perfect Strike" build, and a "Boneshatter" build, you have a "Hammer of the Gods - Perfect Strike - Boneshatter" build.

I never played PoE1, so like to think I'm a bit more "objective" - as I can be at least.

I'm playing Merc/Xbow, which was technically "buffed" (even though there were serious bugs in the mechanics, but anyway...) and, honestly, 0.1+ was more fun than this.

Loot was better. Overall it felt like there was more of a "goal" - though the "goal" does seem more substantial in endgame.
This just feels... crap.

I can specifically say I'm running past wisps because they're slow and worthless, like, equivalent if not worse than strongboxes in 0.1+.

I'm not comparing to LE or any of that crap - comparing a homeless person to someone in an insane asylum is a pointless argument. I'm not saying which is which.

That's why listening to players is often a mistake, they will only make the game worse.
