WTF these warrior nerfs are uncalled for
Actually you need to wait for new passive nodes of P.tree and also the old buffed.
Then you can say that Warrior class is nerfed. But P.tree is significant improved. |

I'm sad about the changes to Smith of Kitava, but for mace skills you have to remember we can now put Martial Tempo everywhere...

I fear that shield changes make the passive side mostly irrelevant. Shield will be used only if you want to use it actively.

I think it will be a bit harder to get 90 max all elemental res now with Smith of the Kitava at least in the beginning of league. Considering that no +max fire res bonus from ascendancy, Infernoclasp unique belt is gone and Soul Core of Puhuarte can only be socketed to gloves instead of all armour.

They massively buffed Fire Warrior at least with the two new skills and some passive tree change (like the one that make broken armor works with fire damage).

There are quite a few nerfs -- and many of the buffs come with a negative trade off.
Giant's Blood less life now, why? Resolute Technique Double accuracy instead of guaranteed hit -- why???? Cannot slot duplicate skill gems If you've played an Ancestral Warrior Totem build you know why this is bad. You need a bossing totem (rolling slam) and a separate mapping totem (sunder). Totem Changes Totems now get scaling off weapons which is great, but at the same time they received significant nerfs (attack speed reduction, attack damage reduction). In early game, this is a nerf because you won't have good enough weapons to overcome the nerfs. At end game, they'll probably be better -- maybe. Also, they mentioned endurance charge cost for warrior totems in the reveal vid -- but no mention in the patch notes. The reveal vid promised "significantly stronger totems" as a result of the trade. The changes to Warrior totem are not significantly stronger in the patch notes -- nor is the endurance charge cost explained. Scavenge Armour Straight up nerf on every aspect of the skill. No Armour Buff Yes you can lean into elemental dmg on armour now BUT the devil is in the details. First this is a percentage of your armour. Second, this applies before elemental resistances. Third, elemental hits tend to be bigger than physical hits. Add this all up and the elemental damage reduction will be really bad because the armour equation reduces the effect of armour the larger the hit is compared to the armour amount. Block Nerf Max block reduced by 50% is a huge nerf. Yes you can block slam damage and AoE damage now, but you're trading that for "I get hit twice as much". Going from 25% of hits land to 50% of hits land is "twice as many hits". This will feel bad. Smith of Kitava nerfs The ascendancy is less powerful -- that's a nerf. Slam skill attack speed These are generally worse for mace users until you have uber high-end gear, and even then the math is sus. The only good news I saw was Warbringer ascendancy looks better (jade is better, totem nodes better, condensed warcry nodes).
