The only probem with Deadeye I have is the ascendacy being too flexible. That's it, they can limit this ascendacy to bow/crossbow mainly and it can be strong like a mountain i don't care. I'll accept it.
Problem is almost every build fits on deadeye better. I may be looking at this from a developer perspective or whatever but then why are they creating other ascendacies exactly? Is there any other ascendacy that is too flexible like deadeye? One of the example is; People were discussing about hollow palm builds. Some people were saying they are planning to go invoker hollow or aco hollow then there is some guys who knows the game better clearly jumps into the discussion and asks why not just go deadeye, and explains why it would fit deadeye better and they actually make too much sense so you can't really argue. I'm not saying weapons should be fixated to one ascendacy or one class or whatever but one ascendacy should not be too powerful and too flexible that would be a top pick over any other ascendacies. Anything other than deadeye is just normal, all have advantages and disadvantages. Have you ever seen anyone saying I'm going spear build bloodmage or hollow palm warbringer or bow stormweaver or whatever. No but I've seen almost every weapon builds going into deadeye. It's that flexible and it just works, even way better than it should have. For flexible ascendacy option, they created Gemling. This asdcendacy i can say it's purely flexible ascendacy and that's probably was the goal of devs. Yet the real flexible option is still overshadowed by Deadeye which is not really created for flexibility like gemling. If you still don't think there needs to be some sort of limitation to deadeye, I don't know what to tell you really. At this point, you just don't care and you couldn't care less if everyone played one single ascendacy, as long as you enjoy the character you are playing. I'm sorry but for this game to be healthy, that's just not good. We need variety and we need equality. Do you realize how bad it feels when you played Amazon in 0.2 but exact same build worked better on Deadeye at the start of the league. I don't know if protected that spot but that how it was. A lot of amazon rerolled to Deadeye JUST TO DO THE SAME BUILD. Do you think this is healthy? | |

Funnily enough i looked at amazon. The PURE EVASION class and they have 21,851 characters that played it and it hasnt even been in the game too long. So you're right. Amazon over the entirety of poe2 has more characters than deadeye by around 3000 characters and its been in the game half the time. Launching classes one at a time every 8 months is a mistake. Every league that has a new class will be a disaster like "league of the amazon" was. |

" No. I mean that having abilities using double the frenzy charges amount is insane boost to effectiveness. Unrelated to marks. Marks are cool, but it's not the only way to generate charges. Neither it is the only way to have AoE as Attack based character. |
