Wrong priorities
Spot on OP, but too bad it's not something that will ever be changed because items are heavily tied to the drop rate of the currency system. Some people like farming 5000 items to find one with non trash stat. It's a decent game, but with the main owner being 10c, the interest is never on the side of the players, ggg might throw in a carrot here and there, but for the most part it'll just be the stick.

" I haven't read the entire thread, so I apologize if I missed something. How much time do you think they spend putting out fires in the economy? I don't know how they operate, but I imagine they have multiple teams working on different things at the same time. I'm not sure fixing fires here and there holds up the entire pipeline for other work. Didn't they add a bunch of stuff for core gameplay in 0.3? New act plus interlude, sprinting, support gems, Abyss league, crafting orbs, and maybe other things I'm forgetting. As for classes, they've said in their interviews that they are working on them. Maybe not as quickly as you'd like, but they need to make difficult decisions on what they need to cut for each release. No matter what they do, some people are going to be unhappy. I'm sure they are doing their best to base their priorities on what would make the game more enjoyable for the majority of players. - I wonder if GGG will ever introduce things like increased drop rates for SSF like LE does. Seems like that would make it easier to balance the SSF experience without affecting trade economies. |

" For me, mace is just too slow and stagnant. So every time we get a patch that have some kind of left side tree build or doesnt diversify what i can play on warrior is going to be crap. If you're a bottom left melee enjoyer and cant stand playing anything else like me. It feels like this patch has nothing in it. You could add a ton of content but if at the end of the day what feels best is leap slam/boneshatter its not going to last. Seeing any dev time go to stuff thats unnecessary like this trade feature is just annoying. This trade feature is a nothing and adds no value to the game. I would have much rather gotten seamless controller/keyboard function. That would have actually increased the quality of the game play. fwiw i dont think they should increase drop rates in ssf. " And that's entirely your opinion and you are in the minority if you look at the reaction online. People celebrate this feature and most of the players will convert to merchant tabs. This feature has been asked for since over 10 years... So get from your high horse and accept, that this patch may not be your favourite one, but many others like the changes that are coming, including the ingame market. |
