All the PoE 2 streamers already quit the league.

lol you watch other ppl play video games..... but 2-3 weeks is generally how long a league takes and it's been out for 3 weeks. Even less for ppl playing 8+hours a day everyday like streamers generally do. Most ppl are done by this point in a league like sorry your slow I guess.
You mean the guys that play video games for 8-16 hours a day 7 days a week have already beat all content. Wow shocked, NOT.

Seriously anyone who thinks that there is not enough content because it is not sustainable to play constantly for 250 hours needs to get there head checked. Games are not jobs and were never intended to be jobs.

This is a massive industry problem of "Not enough Content". No you play too much, go find something else to do in your free time.
it's because of towers. it takes an insane amount of time staring at the giant atlas with 80 maps on screen, and running bad/mid layouts to get one setup worth juicing. nobody wants to do it again after they already have a few times

most streamers will blast for 2 weeks, make a bunch of videos, then there is a distinct lull. They all hop between games also, this isn't unique to POE2. I know some streamers stay committed to POE2 or other games non-stop but the majority will bounce around somewhat

Streamers play games to have fun - just like the rest of us. Yes, they make tons of IRL money in the process. But at the end of the day, if it isn't fun, it's not worth it.

Endgame has nothing except slog. Campaign is a slog. Discourages build crafting and experimentation.

To the others saying "bUt iTS a sEAsOn based game" Yea - no shit Sherlock. But the leagues shouldn't be drastically declining in player numbers and streamer content in three weeks. Denying that is being disingenuous and will only hurt the game that you love so much in the long run.

Funny, POE1 loses about 50% of their player base in about 2-3 weeks of launch. Most of the major streamers also start tapering off around there.

Last Epoch last 80% of their players in about 2 weeks of their latest season.

D4 lost about 33% of it's players in about the first 2 weeks of their latest season.

Almost like... it's a pretty normal pattern for these types of games.

Correct. I've noticed this especially with Last Epoch and people love to glaze that game
The drop-offs are the direct result of poor balance, ridiculous power gains and little challenge, as well as poor and unengaging combat.

"Sigh"
So?

Should I quit too, because some1 who I don't even know personally has quitted the game?

I'm quite fine, thank you. And will continue. Easiest lvl93 this far.
Most of the people who posted here are wrong about the game's deficiencies. It has plenty of skill combinations but only very few of them actually work in the endgame. This is the issue. And it hasn't changed much.
A few reasons.

1. Too easy -- Many of us "super players" destroy the game in a week and are bored to tears almost instantly. POE 1 gives us a couple weeks enjoyment, there's about 20 hours of content in POE 2 once your mapping, and that 20 hours isn't even great. The game is literally shamefully easy. You all should see the POE 2 players in POE 1 chat realizing POE 1 has a ton more depth and difficulty than POE 2 by miles.

2. Many of us already experienced all this multiple times throughout the years in POE 1 -- does it look different? Yeah sure, but we've already done that and been there. IT's not that engaging making a spark witch to match the 10 or 12 you made over the last 10 years of playing poe 1 already..

Essentially, nothing NEW under the sun = not much reason to play.

Some of us (Me specifically) play 100% based on the league mechanic. THe league mechanic sucks? THen I won't play. Because I'm not interested in old league mechanics, i'm already sick of them before the league ends.

I personally need original new ideas every 4 months until GGG shuts down. I'm not into do-overs. New fresh content and ideas, every 4 months, forever.

3. The game has almost zero content to do. In no time flat you are completely done with everything the game has to offer.

4. Mob health is so low you can essentially get a few levels in T1/2 maps then just jump to T14/15, bypassing almost everything.

5. The RNG in mapping pisses off every streamer -- not a single one of them like the atlas mini-game. It's meant to waste time because they have no product to keep us busy.. ALL of us (except some new POE 2 players) prefer to put in the map we want to run, with the content we want to run. No RNG, straight up you get what you pay for. We pay for maps with content, we get THAT map with THE content we paid for.

6. POE 2 is a hollow and soulless feeling game. Maybe because it's not cooked at all yet (2027 at this rate). THere is literally zero depth, there is zero fun things to do once were mapping, zero reason to map because by level 70 the gear you have can 1 shot the game until you quit -- I've not needed to upgrade gear since level 70 to 92, on TWO characters this league...

So gearing is essentially pointless and useless, as you don't need gear to explode every screen around you.

7. POWER... The power in POE 2 is fucking insanely out of control A 10d build in POE 2 acts like a mirror build in POE 1. For the price of nothing in POE 2 you can sleepwalk through the game.
