All the PoE 2 streamers already quit the league.

Why play this game at all if you want difficulty? Play something that actually takes skill.

That would be nice and all, if GGG didn't advertise the game in a certain way...cough...

PoE 2 is not PoE 1. This was mentioned before the game even came out that they would be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Actually that's not only not true, they stated the opposite as we cried "it looks slow" -- Jonathan told us in some rando interview "the endgame is very similar to POE 1" -- this was their intent it just didn't hit like they expected.
Streamers are THE worst thing to happen to games. Any games. Look at the poor guy, he thinks streamers are a measure of how good the game is.

All the big and popular streamers already quit the league 2 weeks into the league which is planned for 4 months.

What GGG did wrong with 0.3? Why everyone quit the league just like 0.2? Wasn't GGG so confident about this league? Why the fast quits by the players and streamers?

Share your thoughts under the thread if you wish.

1. This is false. I get videos in my feed daily from content creators either making a new build or podcasts talking about the game and how much fun they have playing it. The most recent example being a podcast posted yesterday with Zizaran, Darthmicrotransaction and Ghazzy where they talk about how their still playing the game and loving the league. Could give more examples, but maybe instead you can give some examples of what you are talking about, cause this isnt the case.

2. When you posted this we were 3 weeks into the league. Not sure if you dont know how to count or if you just intentionally reduced the number to try and make your point.

3. Even if this were true it wouldnt mean anything, its seasonal content and people will quit when they feel they have finished the content and tried the builds they wanted to. Just because its 4 months until the next league doesnt mean they expect you to play the same league for 4months on end. This is even more the case when the game is in early access and lacking alot of the content, especially in endgame.

I dont think you could be more wrong about anything you wrote.
1. It's beta. Content is missing, content is still being developed, game isn't complete, thus there's not much available for you to do right now. Once you complete all the pinnacle bosses as well as uber arbiter, you've more or less 100%'d PoE2. At that point, you either consider experimenting with a new build or move onto another game.

2. No league challenges, not much incentive to stick around once you've seen everything you wanted to see.

3. Are you sure you're not exaggerating a bit that all of the streamers quit? I don't watch streamers so I wouldn't know, but gleaning through the comments suggest there's still creators actively playing the game.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

You clearly have no idea how seasonal games, or games in beta work.

This person is saying it all right here ^
They made a game with 4 month seasons when people only last 2 weeks in a season.

Umm.... Did you stop and think: The creators have no idea how seasonal games work?

Just weigh it out. A handful of devs on 1 side, 500k players on the other. Who stayed and went? Majority says you are incorrect, Valsacar.

You can lie, I can lie, they can lie... But stat's are just numbers. They're not lying.

You apparently can't read either, the majority of this thread is telling you the same thing I'm telling you.

As you said, stat's are just numbers. They're not lying. EVERY ARPG has the exact same pattern, let me just repeat what I said before

POE1 loses about 50% of their player base in about 2-3 weeks of launch. Most of the major streamers also start tapering off around there.

Last Epoch last 80% of their players in about 2 weeks of their latest season.

D4 lost about 33% of it's players in about the first 2 weeks of their latest season.

Almost like... it's a pretty normal pattern for these types of games.

*All numbers based off Steamcharts publically available data.

Seasonal ARPGs have massive swings in players, huge peaks at season/league launch that tapers down over the first few weeks. Why do you think POE1 has leaguege challenges (to try and stretch that out longer) and does mid/late league events. Why do you think they made POE2 and stated that leagues of the 2 games would alternate every 1.5-2 months.

The devs understand quite well how these games work, they've been doing it for over a decade. But some of you seem to be confused.

And then add in beta, an UNFINISHED game, which obviously lacks content. The fact that POE2 has better retention (and overall higher player numbers) than many ARPGs in full release has is actually quite impressive.

Reality is the exact opposite of what the OP of this thread makes it sound like.
This is so cringe post...

There are 90k players at the moment i type this forum reply

here: https://steamdb.info/app/2694490/charts/

How many streamers are there? 15?
Who cares about streamers? Do you really think streamers dictate if a game is successful or if it sinks?

You dont have a brain on your own?

Not sure why i did even bother replying to such low and dumb post.

Game needs fine tuning, but its a GREAT game considering its free.

who cares about Streamers. The only thing they are good for is a few Guides that are Good for new Player to learn a new Mechanic or How to Craft. The Start of the Season was shit for me too but they Changed things and now i like it much more and have some fun again. it is now more Casual friendly, and there is a good Chance You/we can learn Crafting in the Game in this Season.
