All the PoE 2 streamers already quit the league.

What do you mean? You're just trying to stir up controversy. Literally all of the streamers are playing and also, who cares? PoE2, an unfinished ARPG in early access, i.e. a beta test, is out performing every single ARPG on the market by player numbers. Last Epoch died in under 15 days, it has under 6k players at peak hours. Diablo 4 is donezo.

PoE2 is still over 100,000 players and is in the top ten games played on Steam, not even taking into account other platforms, consistently since the patch.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean the majority isn't having fun.

Stop basing your enjoyment of a game based on who is streaming it. Form your own opinions.
I'm still playing.
Actually I'm playing so much that I don't have time to watch streams and whatnot.
0.3 feels pretty damn good to me.
I won't play full 4 months, obviosuly. But 1-1.5 months easily. Which is plenty for me.
The way campaign should be played by your second and any subsequent characters: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3772827
The game is too easy. It all boils down to aoe screen clear. There's no real chase items. The only gear you are chasing is an exceptional white base and currency. That's pretty much the biggest issue with the game right now in my opinion.

Still really enjoy it but it needs work.

I didn't follow any guides. Also who are you to question me and my skill level in the game. You play sctrade. When you start playing hc or even ssf you can talk to me about how good or bad i am at the game.

Whens the last time you got any awards in gauntlet? Get off your high horse. You're not even good at the game.

I merely said i got bored after i beat arbitor and you're here trying to insult my intelligence and/or skill level in the game.

I dont see it unfortunately. The post was not questioning your skill at all.

Its questioning the words you actually said, versus what you are doing in game.

Just happening on LA deadeye during THIS league, where everyone, even ssf is playing it? Its not coincidence I am afraid.

Ice strike monk is the same thing. Something that has been around since .1, theres no innovation, no "testing" nothing "transformative" about playing ice strike monk. Even your titan, is just a run of the mill basic giants blood nothing burger....

Im not trashing on your skill, or poking fun.

This whole narrative of "POB nights" just doesnt track when you play the exact build that everyone else is playing(LA Deadeye in .3) or something that has been regurgitated since this games launch(Ice strike monk) (giants blood warrior)

Thats fine if thats how you want to play, but its a bit misleading talking about POB nights and going in trying to figure things out on your own. When all that is happening is just playing what has already been done or currently is the meta.

And thats fine if those are the builds you want to play, thats probably how the MASSIVE majority of people play this game.

But for you, when you say you get bored of the game, playing SSF, playing copied builds, its like ....

What did you expect? They didnt announce any end game changes or anything large to that extent...

And you are just playing something that is proven to work. So you have nothing to surprise you, nothing to test, nothing that really challenges you, and then nothing at end game to even look forward to.

You picked safe, easy, and ready made for you builds and then expected.... I dont really know what to be honest.

You dont need POB to test builds for you. POB isnt even perfect for POE1. My suggestion would be to try something that no-one is doing, or something YOU find fun, rather than just finding out what the meta is and copying someone(Like with the Deadeye LA build). At least something and see what happens.

Might change your view on 1h warrior builds since I know you think you just cant play it.

If you dont want to do that, then you might need to ask what you even enjoy about path of exile in the first place. Theory crafting and trying new things out just is not something that is even being attempted based on the characters shown.

Can't believe the portion of the player population that play 24/7 because they get paid to play have run out of content in 2 weeks.

Most of us demolish the game.

I'm a homebound disabled person, my life is in my room, I play as much as most streamers and i'm completely done with the game by week 1 -- POE 2 has actually ZERO interesting or meaningful or challenging content. For a litany of reasons.

POE 1, I do everything by week 3 including get the 1%'er gear -- you don't need gear in POE 2 at all. Wore the same gear on multiple characters from 68 or 70 up to 93 -- no need to upgrade gear, everything just explodes.

There's no point in gearing because games too easy. So no point in doing things because you don't need gear. So don't have point or reason/focus to keep you engaged/playing. Most of us don't enjoy the atlas/mapping system whatsoever, and we abhor towers -- So bored as fuck almost instantly.

POE 2 requires the same core gameplay loop POE 1 has for us POE 1 player to be happy.

POE 2 requires almost no time to 100% all content. For us experienced POE 1 players, POE 2 is the most easy cakewalk ever. I'm actually letdown by how extremely easy POE 2 is, they promised me difficulty, they only deliver "friction" and tedium.

in POE 1 you can get typically get +1 skillpoint, or +1/+1 (Spell/lightning for example) -- you can't get +5 on a weapon outside of influenced bows.

Having 3 skills on neck, 4-5 on weapon... yeah were running around with skill level 30 gems basically.

POE2 does not require skill, that's why. It's all about the amount of time invested in this game. Nothing else matters. You have to be a little smart but even getting the knowledge is....a time investment. Watch some videos on youtube and read some guides, and most of the stuff will be easy with no skill required.

It's a huge time sink.

Why play this game at all if you want difficulty? Play something that actually takes skill.

Nobody is going to make a game you can play 12-16 hours a day and never run out of things to do. This is just not possible stop asking for it.

There is no point in gearing? This has to be one of the dumbest statements I have ever heard. The entire game is about mixing and matching different items/stats passives to achieve an outcome that the player wants and to continually make your character more powerful. The content seems easy because you have to be able to do that content to get the said items to make that content even easier to do.

Personally I think the balance between being able to complete it and difficulty is quite good.

PoE 2 is not PoE 1. This was mentioned before the game even came out that they would be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

I'm taking wacky builds through the campaign. Speccing into poison and hazards on my current character. It's pretty fun. I think that's where the meat of the league is. The campaign is pretty tight, and there are enough skills now that I can surprise myself. Caltrops are much stronger than I'd expected.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.
