Does anyone else feel like the game is just designed to make you hate it?

Like everything about it makes me hate the game. I don't think I've ever ran into such a design before but it appears a good portion of the population thinks the same.

I feel the exact same, not lying i think since launch 90% of my sessions ended with an Alt+f4, everything in this game triggers me its insane. i want to love it dont get me wrong but the slow pace,the one shot mechanics,having a negatives side on almost everything, then the end game mapping system is so bad i just dont know what they are thinking... how can you have a masterpiece that is Poe1 and then... this ?

GGG is making really so called hardcore games, not fun game.
Feels like the current game cannot be described as hard, just boring as fk.
Because there is so few content, they must made the whole game progress slow and punishing, so create a illusion that we need a lot of time to reach end game.

Game actually only makes me love it more.
Been having an absolute blast, 0.3 already plays sooo much better than 0.2.

But I also very much appreciate their design choices.
You don't seem to enjoy the game design in general, and thats totally fine.
I don't get why that is frustrating you (And some others) so much that you feel the need to make a threas about that.

No, but I feel that the game balance is a mess. Some fights in Act 4 make me feel like the developers haven't actually played any "combo" builds in PoE2. You have to play every difficult fight in a very rigid way almost like a turn based game (not because it's slow but because it's like a fast dance) or you can get punished or even 1-shot there for it. In endgame it depends on the boss but generally I still feel like it's extremely hectic, you have to know the bosses inside and out for combo gameplay to really work there. Meanwhile someone else has a simpler build with 2x, 5x, 10x+ the damage and they have no idea what the bosses do lol

Yes, really hate it actually.

I hate the devs more then the game.

Their philosophy of "use combo attacks" and "nerf to the ground everything that isn't a combo attack".

If they keep pushing their annoying combos even when game launches i might quit POE2 forever.

It has to be a love and hate game because I love it, game is GREAT, the patch is great, I can't stand zoomer gameplay...if I want thing to go fast I play shooters or games designed fer that and I don't try to change genres I don't like. COMMON SENSE.
