Endgame has too many monsters that die too fast. Zooming is boring.

That's fantastic. 98% of the players appreciate that.

Abysses covers the entire screen with mobs which are dying to one hit and the game really forces you to scale AoE and damage as much as possible.

Marvelous, I wished there was an option to double the mob density as I would use it 100% of the time.

Nikuksis#6962 เขียน:

i can just ask how many build you see who is actually using PARRY or SHIELD BLOCK on maps?

If you want to do it, it exist, people will play what they enjoy. This is an ARPG and we love blasting screen of mobs. If you want to go and parry, go and do that.

Making the game as zoomy as PoE1 makes it just bad copy of PoE1

I very very much disagree with you. I haven't played POE 1 in over 6 years and I'm loving POE 2 and I never want a slow paced game in it when it comes to XP/loot grinding in maps. This would absolutely destroy the fun for me.

"
Nikuksis#6962 เขียน:

PS. I have many fiends who don't want even trying PoE1 because it looks like zoomy screen exploding eyebleed, and they are hoping that PoE2 will not go this way (as it is advertised as different game).

There are thousands of games your friend can play. Don't destroy one of the best game in the world because you like different games. The slow paced and methodical fights should be reserved to pinnacle bosses or special bosses. Making it slow paced for mapping would be suicide.

0.3 is going in the right direction and the devs knows. Look at the feedbacks. It's clear as day, the people overwhelmingly want density and fast play. When 0.2 hit, it polarized the player base and they quitted enraged. 0.2 was the kind of trauma that almost destroyed GGG reputation. Now that 0.3 is out, it's absolutely marvelous, a masterpiece. The devs have introspected and realized they were about to completely destroy the franchise if they kept listening to a super small minority of players advocating for tedious horrible slow paced game play. They also fixed itemization which they previously ruined. The game is now absolutely galactic top tier fun. The only thing lacking is endgame because we still have to chase towers. When this is fixed, this will be the best game of all time.

I'm not here to say what it should be but...

Is't it wierd to kill 30 creatures/people per second ?

It's a gore firework.

I wouldn't mind it to be slower, more tactical and less gorefeast.

You can do screen blasting in PoE1 with much better options to do so and much more content and without heating the room with your GPU. And the difference in visauls of "blasting" in poe1 and poe2 is not visible.
Whats the point of doing the copy of the good game it is already exists? I assume they want to catch different part of playerbase who don't like zoom trough billions of monsters with lightspeed clicking one button.

It is unplayable in current combat speed and packsize, thats why noone use it.
Im currently playing in SSF on mace build, and game still require it to pop the packs of monsters because its the way the monster balanced right now, there's just no other way to play it.

I'm currently hyped and really love the leveling and early campaign in PoE2, the way you see what monsters attacking you, what are they doing, trying to play around that, focus certain mobs and use different skills.
When it comes to maps it become extremely boring repetitive combat and screen clutter as much as poe1 without poe1's deep and variable buildcrafting.
I would not complain about it if only devs are not presenting PoE2 as much slower but still deep and hardcore game.
The major part of PoE2 content right now is campaign, which is actively "skipped" with PoE1 mindset of "i must skip campaign asap to get to the REAL GAME". Why then the devs keep paying so much attention to the acts and act bosses?

Surely you have some proof for that claim.

Only fools don't change their minds. Sticking to a "vision" when your noise/signal ratio is not at 20/80 is suicide. The people voiced their disgust at the "slow paced" tedium and GGG realized it was bad. I'm so glad that they had the clarity to move the way they did with 0.3.

Maybe for some, that's not my case. I enjoyed the campaign. The pacing is fine but Act 4 maps are way too big with weird pathing.

Because campaign and end game are two different beasts. I love both. End game should be smooth and fast since all you do there is grinding for min maxing. Some players don't even play end game at all and that's fine. For those who do, it shouldn't be a punishing core. We are here to have fun, not to feel miserable.

Hyperbolic? Perhaps, maybe it's 97%, it's hard to say.
But the signals are there. Just look at the steam recent reviews and most players leave very good feedbacks. I changed my doomsday feedback of 0.2 to a positive feedback after the 4th day 0.3 was online.
I agree. If this game becomes just zoom-zoom i might play for some time but its gonna get boring pretty fast. I am all for meaningful combat and expect some big changes for endgame in 0.4.

People who are NOT fans of Fubgun gaming style need to make their voices heard.

This voice was from PoE1 community which is not the target audience. That does not mean all of 300k online players of EA shares this opinion.
I loved "the vision" and hope they will stay at this. Else they'd end up somewhere in between with neither Poe1 fun deep buildcraft and shitton of contents nor with PoE2's slower and engaging combat and gameplay.

Sure buddy, you've read most of the comments and thus can claim "most leave good feedback". Eh oh él.
