and how much work and planning would think got into the tech, the choice of minion as well as finetuning? I know, you wanted to play dark souls... why aren't you playing dark souls instead of complaining here about hte most successful iteration of the game yet?

If by work you mean mindlessly grinding and by planning you mean checking the database and making a POB OUTSIDE the game for an afternoon... sorry buddy, that's not actual good gameplay.

The only good thing they actually added was a more proper trade system.

Also "good combat" doesn't mean automatically "dark souls" ... but that's a bit too much for guys like you to understand I guess.

Only the top players at the top levels of the pyramid can do this.

For the bottom levels of the player base, I do not think they are able to accomplish this.

Fact is, this is an arpg, and like in any rpg character building is a central concept. You discarding it just shows beautifully that you haven't got a clue about the game.

Also grinding, ever heard the name grinding gear games? There is no mindful grinding, grinding itself requires repetition of the same tasks over and over again. So I would suggest you change your game, you don't agree with the core principle, why are you actually here?

how about player retention? Maybe the word or the math involved if too complex for you. and 0.1? no point using it a yardstick, as everybody with half a brain would know. Maybe when the full story release comes we can try again, but even then you won't generate the new release flood of casuals that play for 10 hours. And how a game company measures success? money mate, money, no rainbows and ponies involved.
