I would like to add that combat, in its current state, isn't very enjoyable, I remember I had a great time in S1 with warrior, melee was enjoyable, hence I played as huntress and now minion build, and the game just feels not interactive enough.
Number one problem, is the problem from PoE1, screen just has so many graphical effects, I really need to focus to understand whats going on, specially with minion play. Why there no option to disable all small and unnecessary effects. Second problem, skills are chosen based on damage, there are very little combo like stuff that you can produce, so of course 1 skill builds are natural choices, because why bother to click more, if it's not engaging. The build up to power its either too slow or to quick. There is no middle ground. Third problem IMHO. Itemization system, is kinda hidden. As a player who invested 200+ hours, I constantly need to use external resources to craft, the tag system is never explained in the game. The overabundance of crafting materials and extreme micromanagement. As of now, the game is not engaging enough for me, I like the campaign, because it contains story. However beyond that, bosses were very easy, I did most of them on the first try, and never invested in the gear this run. Also there is no point of doing bosses second or third time, simply not rewarding. So if they buff hp, the game becomes sloggy, and thats because the combat itself, despite being the focus on making PoE2, feels somehow wrong, the abilities are sometimes random, and only few classes has like 1-2-3 buttons that feels engaging to press and try to execute in a chaos of mobs chasing you. So i'm not sure what they have changed, but it definately feels like players has too much power, and bosses, mobs are too weak. |

" I think this is kinda on point. I never liked PoE1 simply because it tends to this quick clear playstyle, but I understand some people like it, so I just never considered PoE1 after I understood I cannot really enjoy this. PoE2 initially gave a different idea and marketing was towards this second style, however now I feel like its gone, and it does feel like PoE1, a bit slower. |

" You mean in campaign? Combat isn't slower in the endgame at all. Its the same poe 1 sprinting through maps. |
